Its been a really long time since I have blogged, and thus I last night I sat around for a good fifteen minutes trying to think of something to talk about - and so I am here now talking about it.
I've been thinking a little about the
World of Warcraft Arena Tournament - you can head over there and have a read about it in more detail. But in short, it will new a new WoW realm, which you must pay an extra fee to play on. Once you're on there, you can play there for about 6 weeks or so, in which all the arena tournament games will take place. There will be cash prizes and no doubt, all kinds of other prizes for those competing.
They are going to allow everyone who joins in to select a character that will be pre-levelled all the way up to level 70 and give you some resources to spend on whatever selection of the latest and greatest Arena PvP armour and weapons you could need.
This is definately the next step in competitive play, and because it is actually being organised by the game's developer/publishing house, I think that it has the potential to become one of the biggest tournaments running at the moment.
In other news - Limescale has hit level 64, after completing
all Hellfire Peninsula quests and moving on and following suit in Zangamarsh (or however you spell the sodding place). I've collected a reasonable array of weapons and armour to help me along with the questing in Outland - but am now on the lookout for getting some Tanking gear up together. I really enjoy tanking and always feel like such a let down when I turn down a guild instance group because I simply do not have the gear.
Also - I've now climbed well over 1000 gold, after spending over 800 gold only 4 levels ago. I'm hoping to have about 2500 by the time that I hit level 70, which will give me a nice stead to getting that epic flying mount training pretty quickly. I plan to pvp and continue questing - in order to gear up and enjoy earning gold and tanking quest rewards.
